Purpose
BAUSEA is organized exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It develops and supports networks, programs, research, technology-enabled initiatives, educational opportunities, institutional collaborations and community infrastructure that expand access to education, research, innovation, technology, economic participation and advancement for aspiring and underserved communities.
BAUSEA has no members. Registering a child with the club makes the family a participant in a BAUSEA program; it does not make anyone a member of the corporation.
The club
Melissa Multisport Club is a program of BAUSEA, based in Melissa, Texas. It is not a separate legal entity. The club operates under the club bylaws and membership rules, adopted under BAUSEA's authority.
